Week1: Bumper

Craft: The bumper was made using Photoshop. After setting the workspace to the Motion option, I had the ability to utilize the timeline function. In the timeline I experimented with opacity and motion.
Concept: The name Kya-ken is loosely based on the on a fighting technique in the anime Dragon Ball Z called the Kaiyo-ken. It also relates to parts of my name, Kya being my middle name and Ken being part of my last name. With the fighting technique in mind and the strength it possesses, I wanted to find a font that demonstrated the same strength which is why I chose this broken rock effect.
Composition: I chose a color that I enjoy, that being teal and colors in the blue family. Going back to the fighting technique, I wanted to capture the energy of the move, which is why I chose to have the letters flying into the foreground.
