Week 14: Final project
Craft: For my final animation project, I will be using Adobe Character Animator to create my animation. I plan to use CH to record the character's lines and performance then place the scenes into Adobe Premiere to add any extra effects, such as music, backgrounds, and sfx to the video. In this draft, I have only have one character's lines which were recorded in Character Animator. This is the exported scene from the program.
Concept: My story is about a young boy named Lash who runs into a creepy fat guy telling the 11-year-old that there is a certain danger to the world. The fat guy convinces Lash that he is a hero and that only Lash can save the world. Eager for an adventure after his Pokemon Go app crashes, Lash embarks on the journey. Little does he know, his journey will end with a twist.
Composition: The composition will be fairly simple with a minimum to 2-3 settings. Most of this character's appearances take place in a park where he meets Lash. Therefore, I wanted to illustrate a setting suitable for the environment.

Week 8: Stop Motion with Music and SFX
Craft: The video was made using a SLR camera for the photos and Adobe Premiere to combine the photos into a video. The document first needed to be organized to insure all 300 photos were found in one place and extra items, like the bumper could also be located. The duration of the still images had to be controlled in Premiere so that the animation would run smoothly. After some difficulties and experimentation, I set the still image frame rate to 4 images per second. The music was created in Garage Band and I pulled royalty free sound effects from the website www.freesfx.co.uk/.
Concept: I wanted to create a variety of forms from clay in this video.
Composition: Each of the 300 photos demonstrate a different motion in the clay so the scene would progress in the composition. What made the composition different was the addition of music and sfx to convey the actions going on in the animation.
